WellConnectedMom and Kazaana in NYC!
We had the pleasure of sponsoring Lori Cunningham, WellConnectedMom and nationally respected mom blogger, for BlogHer12. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the outcome and wanted to personally thank Lori for her commitment to Kazaana’s launch and further introducing our platform to the over 5,000 mom and dad bloggers attending the conference. From what we’ve heard, it was certainly the place to be in NYC for mixing, mingling and chatting about all topics important to making an impact in the blogosphere for parents and families. In fact, bloggers have such an impact in relating to America’s families that President Obama himself opened the BlogHer conference as a keynote speaker, via a live feed!
One topic on a lot of minds was how to handle kids and teens who want to be online, interacting with their friends like a lot of kids do. Safety in anything is always a #1 concern for most parents and the brave new world of online social interactions is no different. Parents and kids are already flocking to our site as they head back to school. After all, Kazaana is a safe social networking platform for kids, their friends and family. As kids return to school and say goodbye to summer and often their summertime friends, they can now communicate via video chat, upload and share content like photos, videos, have a blast playing Kazaana’s growing collection of apps and games and even style their own 3D avatar. We are super excited that Lori was able to introduce Kazaana to the many bloggers so they can share with their inner circle how cool it is for kids and helpful for parents.
